Directions to the Roanoke Men’s Workshop

From Interstate 81, coming from North or South:
Get off at exit 143 (I-581 South/220 South).Follow 220 South for 30 miles to Rocky Mount and bear right on Route 40 East. Follow 40 East for 2.2 miles and turn left on Route 122. Follow 122 for 7.1 miles and turn right on Burnt Chimney Rd. (Route 670). See “You’re Almost There” paragraph below.

From Route 460, coming from East or West (Bedford bypass):
Get off at Route 122 exit (Smith Mountain Lake signs) and go South. Follow 122 for 27.5 miles and turn left on Burnt Chimney Rd. (Route 670). See “You’re Almost There” paragraph below.

From Route 220, coming from the North or South:
Get off at Route 40 exit and go East. Follow Route 40 East for 2.2 miles and turn left on Route 122. Follow 122 for 7.1 miles and turn right on Burnt Chimney Rd. (Route 670). See “You’re Almost There” paragraph below.

From Route 29, coming from the North or South:
Drive to Gretna and turn onto Route 40 West. Go about 35 miles and turn right on Route 122. Follow 122 for 7.1 miles and turn right on Burnt Chimney Rd. (Route 670). See “You’re Almost There” paragraph below.

You’re Almost There:

Once you’re on Burnt Chimney Rd., follow the green signs to the “4-H Center.” Specifically, follow Burnt Chimney Rd. for 7 miles and turn right on Lovely Valley Rd. (668). Follow Lovely Valley for 0.8 mile and turn right on Crafts Ford Rd. (944). Follow Crafts Ford Rd. for 2.4 miles and bear left on Hermitage Lane (669). From there, it’s 0.9 miles to the 4-H Center.
